How long does cooked idli last? 

If you are in the middle of winter, you can easily keep your cooked idli for one or two days in an airtight container in room temperature. However, in summer, you should refrigerate it and it will stay good for up to two days. Make sure to consume it within these two days. This brings us to the next question that must be on your mind. 

Can you freeze cooked idli? 

Just like most cooked dishes, you can freeze cooked idlis also. The right way to do it is to pack it in an air-tight container and put it in the freezer. You need to keep in mind that the idlis will remain edible for up to two months after storing it in the freezer.

Leftover Idli Snack Recipe For Weight Loss:

Heat some oil in a pan and roast mustard seeds and hing powder. Add roughly chopped onion, tomato and capsicum. Add salt to taste and spices as per your taste preference. You can add some tomato sauce also. Mix everything well and cook the vegetables. Then add leftover idlis cut them into smaller parts and combine them with the masala. That’s it. Your healthy idli snack is ready.
