Pepper chicken, also known as doi morich in Bengal, is a creamy and flavourful chicken dish. In this recipe, chicken pieces are marinated with curd and ginger-garlic paste and then cooked in a rich, aromatic curry. The addition of cashew paste is what gives the dish its unique taste, whereas the black pepper adds to its spiciness. You can also customise the amount of black pepper used in it as per your liking.

What Can You Serve With Bengali-Style Pepper Chicken?

Bengali-style pepper chicken tastes best when it is paired with steamed rice. But if you do not wish to have rice, you can also pair it with roti or paratha.
