Sumit Sonal, another Xiaomi executive, general manager, marketing, Xiaomi India also shared some of the camera specifications of the phone. According to his tweet, the Sony IMX766 which is integrated into the primary sensor of the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G claims to capture more light and offer better-clarity in photography.

Redmi Note 12 Pro (India variant) expected specifications
Redmi Note 12 Pro is likely to feature a 6.67-inch full-HD+ OLED display with 1,080×2,400 pixels resolution. The smartphone is said to offer up to 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. Rumours suggest that the device will run MIUI 13 based on Android 12 and will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB in-built storage.
As discussed above, Redmi Note 12 Pro is expected to feature a triple rear camera setup that may include– 50MP Sony IMX766 OIS sensor, 8MP ultra wide-angle sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone may feature a 16MP front shooter.
