Xbox Series X price hike
Microsoft is also increasing the price of its Xbox Series X in most countries in August. According to the publication, the prices will remain the same in the US, Japan, Chile, Brazil and Colombia. There has been no official communication from the company yet.

“We’ve held on our prices for consoles for many years and have adjusted the prices to reflect the competitive conditions in each market,” Kari Perez, head of communications for Xbox, was quoted as saying.
The report also noted that Xbox Series X console pricing “will largely match the price hike Sony announced for the PS5 last year.”
The Xbox Series X price in India is currently set at Rs 49,990. The Sony PlayStation 5 Digital Edition is priced at Rs 54,990 in India. Microsoft, however, is not increasing the price of Xbox Series S.

Microsoft was expected to make pricing adjustments after Sony increased the price last year. Furthermore, in October last year, Xbox chief Phil Spencer hinted that pricing for subscriptions would be increased.
