When Alia Bhatt revealed how many kids she wanted, said she was thinking about ‘baby names’

Actor Alia Bhatt announced her pregnancy on Monday by sharing a picture of her sonography on Instagram. The photo also featured her husband actor Ranbir Kapoor. Alia tied the knot with Ranbir in April after dating him for almost 5 years. But did you know that in a 2018 interview the actor revealed that she had started thinking about her babies names. Sharing the photo on Monday, Alia wrote, “Our baby ….. coming soon.” In the photo, a happy Alia is seen looking at the sonography monitor. Alia’s mother Soni Razdan, her mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor, sister-in-law Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and celebrities such as Priyanka Chopra, Rakul Preet Singh, Karan Johar, Tiger Shroff and many others dropped congratulatory messages in the comments section of the video.

In 2018, Alia and Ranbir made their relationship official. The duo appeared together at Sonam Kapoor’s wedding reception. In that year, during an interaction with Filmfare, Alia said, “I’ve not had the life of an average 20-year-old. By average, I mean any other 20-year-old. Maybe, another 20-year-old would have had a life way tougher than mine. So, I will not understand their point of you and they may not understand mine. Everyone’s story is different based on the life they’ve lived. Also, I don’t know if it’s just because I’ve turned 25, but of late, I’ve started thinking of baby names. I’m a baby myself but for some reason baby names seem attractive to me.”

The following year, in a video, Alia spoke about how many kids she wanted. In 2019, Alia shared a video on YouTube also featuring her best friend Akansha Ranjan. In the video, Alia revealed how many children she wants to have. She said that she wants “two boys.”

Alia and Ranbir are currently awaiting the release of their film Brahmastra. The Ayan Mukerji directorial will release on September 9, 2022. She also has her Heart Of Stone in the pipeline. The film is Alia’s first international project. The Tom Harper film will be released on Netflix. Apart from this, Alia is also filming Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with actor Ranveer Singh, which releases in 2023.
