Western Digital launches its new gaming PCIe Gen 4 compatible NVMe SSD, price starts at Rs 13,119 – Times of India

Western Digital has expanded its NVMe SSD portfolio with the launch of a new SSD drive. The company has confirmed that it has now started shipping the WD_Black SN850X NVMe SSD in India. The new SSD, according to the company, is aimed at hardcore gamers looking for faster and reliable performance. The internal PCIe Gen4 SSD claims to offer up to 7300MB/s transfer speeds.
WD_Black SN850X NVMe SSD: Price and availability
WD_Black SN850X NVMe SSD will be available in 1TB, 2TB and 4TB capacities. The price of the SSD starts at Rs 13,119 and it will be available for purchase at select Western Digital retailers, e-tailers, resellers, system integrators and the Western Digital Store.

WD_Black SN850X NVMe SSD: Features
As it is already clear from its name, the WD Black SN850X is an NVMe SSD with PCIe Gen 1 support. The SSD claims to offer up to 7300MB/s transfer speed, minimised latency, predictive loading and adaptive thermal management. The company claims a fluid gaming experience with faster load times, rich visuals and better SSD thermal performance. Apart from that, the SSD is also compatible with WD_BLACK Dashboard which has been updated with new Game Mode 2.0, offering more PC performance-boosting features.
An optional heatsink (1TB and 2TB models) is available to help maintain peak performance and includes RGB lighting to complement any gaming rig.
