Tender pieces of chicken are marinated in Indian spices like tandoori masala, red chilli powder, garam masala, ginger-garlic paste and more, and cooked in a tandoor to give us the beloved chicken tikka. Now you can make this classic street food at home, with this easy recipe.
Chicken Tikka Recipe: How To Make Restaurant-Style Chicken Tikka
Start by marinating the chicken in salt, ginger-garlic paste and lemon juice. Marinate this for about 3-4 hours. Next, add yoghurt, cornstarch, mustard oil, tandoori masala, Kashmiri red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and black pepper powder. Keep this marinated for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Thread the marinated chicken in the skewers along with onion and capsicum. Line the skewers on a foil lined baking tray. Grill for 10-12 minutes and then rotate the skewers. Let the chicken cook till it is slightly charred. The chicken tikka is ready!
