Apple has rolled out the iPadOS 15.2, tvOS15.2 and watchOS 8.3 updates. Let’s take a look at what all the three updates have got for the users.
With the iPadOS 15.2, Apple brings the Apple Music Voice Plan, another of its subscription-based plans with the help of which users can ask Siri to play the track of their choice on Apple Music. With this subscription, you can access all your Apple Music songs, playlists and stations via Siri. With ‘Just Ask Siri’, you can get music suggestions that tap into your listening history and ‘Play it Again’ allows you to play any track from your recently played music on the app.
The iPadOS 15.2 update also brings the App Privacy Report that lets you monitor what apps have accessed sensitive details like location, photos, camera, microphone etc. the last seven days. The update also adds new safety features for kids and parents in the Messages app with settings for communication safety.
With the Digital Legacy feature, you can designate people as Legacy Contacts. This would make it possible for them to access your iCloud account and personal information in the case of your death.
You will also be able to access Quick Note by swiping from the lower left or lower right corner of the screen. Hide My Email also comes for iCloud+ subscribers and you can now delete and rename tags with Reminders and Notes.
Apple tvOS 15.2
The tvOS update adds a new Photos’ Memories experience that adds new animation and transition styles and image collages. With this update, Siri gets support for Dutch and French in Belgium, Russian in Russia, and French, German, and Italian in Switzerland. Via Settings, you can enable Siri to find content. There are several bug fixes too.
Apple watchOS 8.3
The watchOS 8.3 brings Apple Music Voice Plan and support for App Privacy Report to the users. It comes with a fix for the issue of notifications interrupting Mindfulness sessions. Plus, the update also brings a number of security fixes for the watchOS 8.3 which you can find on the Apple website. The update is compatible with the Apple Watch Series 3 and later.
