Apple has also mentioned that all the new features of WatchOS 10 will not be available on all the devices. Some of the sensitive features will be limited to the newer Apple Watch models which are powered by advanced processors. Along with this Apple has also mentioned that in order to access watchOS 10, the Apple Watch users need to have an iPhone which is compatible with iOS 17. This means that users with iPhone XS or later and iPhone XR of later are compatible with watchOS 10.
WatchOS 10 features
With watchOS 10, users can conveniently access important information on specific watch faces by simply rotating the digital crown button. Additionally, Apple is expanding the availability of widgets, including those for podcasts and stopwatch functionalities. Furthermore, both the world clock app and the activity app have received a fresh redesign, enhancing the visual experience of these two applications. Moreover, developers now have the freedom to give their apps a new design aesthetic.
Apple Watch apps, such as Weather, Stocks, Home, Maps, Messages, World Clock, and others, have been optimized to utilize a larger portion of the Apple Watch display, allowing for more easily digestible information at a glance. The Activity app on Apple Watch and the Fitness app on iPhone have undergone significant improvements, making it even more effortless to track daily movement with additional details. These enhancements include improvements in sharing, a revamped trophy case, and valuable tips from Apple Fitness+ trainers.
