NEW DELHI: Punjab Kings (PBKS) skipper Shikhar Dhawan led from the front as he showcased exceptional fielding skills to get rid of Delhi Capitals (DC) captain David Warner in an Indian Premier (league (IPL) match at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala on Wednesday.
The incident happened in the 11th over of the innings when Warner looked to slap Sam Curran‘s delivery downtown but ended up miscuing it in the air. But an alert Dhawan ran across from cover and executed a perfectly timed dive to his left, grabbing the ball mid-air. His grip was so secure that even when his arms hit the ground, the ball didn’t pop out.

Warner played a fine innings, scoring 46 runs off 31 balls that included five fours and two sixes.
