Watch: Ranveer Singh, Karan Johar Wrap Film Shoot With A Tableful Of Cakes

The power-packed performers Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt will soon be sharing screen space in an upcoming film titled ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. The Karan Johar directorial will be the duo’s second venture together after ‘Gully Boy’. Since its announcement, the film is grabbing the limelight and movie buffs from across India can’t keep their calm to see Alia-Ranveer impressing us all (yet again) with their performance. The actors recently wrapped their shoot for the film, and Karan Johar took to Instagram to tease us with a glimpse of the grand wrap party.

In one of his latest Insta-Reels, Karan Johar gave us a sneak peek into the party and wrote a heartfelt note alongside. In the video, we also saw Ranveer Singh video-called Alia Bhatt, who is currently busy promoting her film ‘Darlings’. But what grabbed our eyeballs are the cakes they ordered for the party.

In the video, we could see a huge chocolate cake (as long as the table) with snaps from the movie and ‘It’s a wrap- team Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ written on it. There were a few other customised cakes – one with white fondant and ‘Gucci’, ‘Fendi’, ‘Louis Vuitton’ etc written on it; and the other cake had images of film reels and the stars from the film. “It’s a talkie wrap on a piece of my heart…a kahani that became a journey which I will hold close to me forever!” reads the post. Such an energetic and positive video; isn’t it? For the unversed, ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahai’ also stars veteran actors like Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi and Dharmendra. Produced by Dharma productions, the film is slated for a 2023 release.
