Vivo S17 fast charging specs revealed on 3C website, launch soon

Ahead of its debut, the Vivo S17 has made an appearance on the 3C certification website which has revealed the charging details of the upcoming model.

  • The Vivo S17 smartphone, bearing the model number V2283A, has been found listed on the 3C certification website. 
  • China Compulsory Certificate (CCC; commonly referred to as 3C) is a safety certificate tissued for product retailing in China.
  • The Vivo S17 smartphone has now been spotted listed on the website with its chargers carrying the model numbers V8037L0A0-CN, V8037L0B0-CN, or V8037L0D0-CN. 
  • These chargers are rated for 10W (5V/2A), 18W (9V/2A), and 80W (11V/7.3A). Thus the Vivo S17 will be getting the 80W fast charging system to juice itself up. 
  • This means that the Vivo S17 smartphone will bring improvements in terms of fast charging. The previous generation Vivo S16 smartphone supports 66W fast charging. 

Vivo S17 specifications (expected)

  • Display: The new generation series Vivo S is expected to feature a 1.5K OLED display with up to 120Hz display. 
  • Chipset: The Vivo S17 smartphone has been tipped to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor.
  • RAM and Storage: Expected to come with 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB configuration options.
  • OS: The device will run the latest Android 13 OS out of the box.
  • Battery and Fast Charging: The Vivo S17 is expected to feature a 4,500mAh battery with 80W FlashCharge fast charging support.
  • Camera: A 50MP Sony IMX766V camera which might be supported by OIS.
