Viral Video: Gujarat Vendor’s Heart-Shaped Chocolate Cheese Sandwich Leaves Internet Disgusted
Whenever we’ve craved a quick and delicious snack – the humble sandwich has always come to our rescue! It is easy to make and can be relished with numerous types of fillings, spreads or jams. Due to its versatility, people are often seen experimenting with it in their attempt to make something unique and creative. One such recent bizarre sandwich experiment, however, has left the internet disgusted. In a viral video from Bhavnagar, Gujarat, a street-food vendor is seen making a sandwich with a filling of strawberry jam, cheese and chocolate ice cream. Yes, you read that right!

In a viral video that has been making rounds on Twitter, we see a street-food vendor cutting white bread into heart-shaped portions before applying butter and jam on it. A second person then adds grated chocolate to the bread before adding cheese. If this wasn’t enough, the vendor is then seen taking two chocolate ice cream bars and placing them within the sandwich after removing a small portion of the bread in the shape of a heart. The sandwich is then divided into two and is ready to be served. Watch the viral video here:

Ever since the video was uploaded, it has garnered 654.9K views, over 3K likes and several comments! Many people were left disgusted with this bizarre food combination. One person wrote, “Butter, jam and chocolate were still tolerable. But no, no ice cream and cheese and bread together. Nope.” “I won’t ever do something like this or eat this.” read another comment.

The dish even shocked former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, who retweeted the viral video. “This sandwich just blew my mind. Who came up with this combination & how did they find a market for it? I love Gujarati food but I draw the line at this invention,” he wrote.
