Tecno Phantom X2 to go on sale in India on January 9: Specifications and more – Times of India

Chinese smartphone maker Tecno expanded its Phantom-series with the launch of the Tecno Phantom X2 earlier this month. The company has now announced that it will make the phone available in India in January. The smartphone is 5G-enabled and is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset.
Tecno Phantom X2 pre-order, sale in India
Tecno has not revealed an official launch date for Phantom X2 smartphone but said that the smartphone will be made available for pre-orders via Amazon.in starting January 2. In addition, the Chinese smartphone company revealed that the Tecno Phantom X2 will go on sale for the first time starting January 9. There is no information on the phone’s price in India.
Additionally, Tecno has promised to provide a free upgrade to the Phantom X3 to limited customers who pre-order the Phantom X2.

Tecno Phantom X2: Features and specifications
The Tecno Phantom X2 features a 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1080×2400 pixels resolution. The screen gets Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset paired with an 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM. It will pack 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.
For optics, the Tecno Phantom X2 smartphone comes equipped with a triple rear camera setup which consists of a 64MP primary camera with RGBW sensor and optical image stabilisation (OIS). There is a 13MP sensor paired with an ultrawide angle lens and a 2MP camera. On the front is a 32MP selfie shooter for video calls.
The Tecno Phantom X2 runs the company’s proprietary HiOS 12 operating system based on Android 12. The phone is backed by a 5,160mAh battery unit with 45W fast charging support.
