Shahid Kapoor observed daughter Misha as she ‘patiently’ got mehendi done, Mira Rajput got his name inked on her hand

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput’s daughter Misha Kapoor is very fond of mehendi. The five-year-old recently got mehendi applied on her hands at her aunt Sanah Kapur’s wedding. Sanah tied the knot with Mayank Pahwa on March 2. Misha also donned ethnic wear and had a paranda ‘(tassel) tied to her braids, a picture of which her mother shared on Instagram Stories. Another picture shared from the wedding festivities showed Shahid holding onto his daughter as he hugged Sanah. Misha, who had her hands on her mouth as she looked down, was very patient when she was applied mehendi later in the day.

Popular Bollywood mehendi artist Veena Nagda told Times of India, “Misha is fond of mehendi and patiently sat through the entire process. Shahid Kapoor kept dropping in to observe his daughter as she got her mehendi done. Misha had her own suggestions too, like flowers and peacock designs.”

Misha’s mother Mira Rajput also got intricate mehendi done and had her husband Shahid’s name inked on her hand. She had previously shared a picture of her mehendi-inked hands, on Sanah’s wedding day.

Veena also applied mehendi on Sanah and the other guests at the wedding. She revealed that Sanah got an intricate bridal mehendi done for her special day. The bride’s mother Supriya Pathak, and the groom’s mother Seema Pahwa, also opted for delicate prints. Veena revealed that Supriya’s sister Ratna Pathak Shah also got mehendi done but chose a minimalistic design at the centre of her left hand as the actor had a shoot coming up.

Shahid and Mira tied the knot in 2015 and welcomed their first child, daughter Misha in 2016. They named her Misha by combining their names Mira and Sasha- Shahid’s nickname that his friends and family call him by. They became parents to a son, Zain, in 2018.
