Shah Rukh Khan gives rare dance performance at Mumbai Police’s Umang event, grooves to I Am The Best. Watch
Shah Rukh Khan is back and he is back with a bang. The actor not just recently released the motion poster of his upcoming film, Pathaan, but also gave his first stage performance in many years, on Sunday. The actor was in a black suit and shades as he grooved to his songs, including I Am The Best from his film Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani, with a wand in hand, along with several background dancers in white costumes. A video of his performance made its way online soon after.
The event was held at BKC, Mumbai and had several Bollywood and television celebrities in attendance. Shehnaaz Gill grooved to The Punjaabban Song with Anil Kapoor at the event. Rakhi Sawant did a catwalk on the stage, along with a young girl. She was in a heavy red lehenga and accompanied her mom on stage, to spread cancer awareness. Rakhi’s boyfriend Adil Khan also joined her at the event. According to PTI, Mumbai police earns at least ₹4 crore from Umang event that is held for police welfare fund.
Shah Rukh has an impressive lineup of three films, namely Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki. The actor unveiled the Pathaan poster on Friday, on the occasion of completing 30 years in the film industry. He conducted an Instagram live and gave answers to questions put up by his fans.
Shah Rukh will be seen uniting with his Chennai Express and Om Shanti Om co-star Deepika Padukone in Pathaan. The film also stars John Abraham and will hit theatres on January 25 next year.
Shah Rukh also has Atlee’s Jawan. The actor was seen in a never-seen-before battered and bandaged look in the film’s teaser. He will also be seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki, also starring Taapsee Pannu.
