Samsung to reportedly rollout first Android 14 beta in late July – Times of India

The tech giant has already started rolling out Android 14 beta updates for Pixel smartphones. Now it appears that Samsung is also gearing up to roll out the Android 14 beta update for its smartphones.
According to a report by Sammobile, Samsung may start its own beta program for Android 14-based One UI 6.0 by the end of July. The report adds that Samsung may start rolling out One UI 6.0 beta update for Galaxy S23 series in the 3rd week of July. After this the company will soon start rolling out beta updates for other smartphones as well.
The report also adds that the smartphone maker has also started the basic work for the beta program. The company is already updating apps with One UI 6.0 support. The company has not yet revealed any details about One UI 6.0 and it is expected to reveal the details about the OS in coming weeks.
Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event to take place next month
Samsung is gearing up to reveal its upcoming lineup of foldable smartphones. The company has officially disclosed some details regarding the highly anticipated Galaxy Unpacked event, where these new foldable devices will be introduced. Scheduled to take place in South Korea in July, the event will be held at COEX in Samseong-dong, Gangnam. Samsung’s primary focus at the event will be the launch of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 foldable smartphones. Additionally, the company is anticipated to showcase its Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Tab S9 series during the event.
