Samsung: Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro may get a new colour variant – Times of India

0
Samsung’s true wireless earbuds, the Galaxy Buds Pro, came out in January 2021 in three colours: Silver, Violet, and Black and later, a Stan Smith special edition was also launched. Now, Samsung could have a White variant in store for the Galaxy Buds Pro, if the claims of tipster Roland Quandt are to be believed. Quandt posted some images of the supposed colour variant of the true wireless earbuds. The images show Galaxy Buds Pro earbuds with white rubber tips, a matte white touchpad and a white charging case. The word “Samsung” is scrawled on the lid of the case in silver.

If this variant does see the light of the day, Samsung would have a plain white colour for the Galaxy Buds Pro.
The Galaxy Buds Pro were given the “Double-tap earbud edge” feature by Samsung a long time after they arrived on the other Galaxy Buds model. With this feature, the Galaxy Pro earbuds users need only to double-tap the top edge of the left earbud to decrease the volume. To increase the volume, they need to do the same but on the right earbud. The update also lets users assign different tasks to the double-tap and triple tap function. The Galaxy Buds Pro update has started rolling out in South Korea and it could take a bit of time to reach other users globally.
Coming to another feature, Samsung claims that the ANC on the Galaxy Buds Pro “filters out up to 99% of background noise.” with the help of its “intelligent algorithm that cancels out the noise”. It seems like maybe the claim did not exactly meet the ANC performance and the company has tried to better the ANC with an update that requires you to long-press on the earbud to toggle the noise control mode on or off.
