Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Event Part 2: Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Event Part 2: Could Galaxy Tab S8 be in the offing? – Times of India

After Apple and Google, it is now Samsung’s turn to treat us to something new in October during its Galaxy Unpacked Event Part 2. While rumours about the new colours of the foldable phone Galaxy Z Flip3 are doing the rounds, Samsung may have a secret product ready for the unveil about which it has not given any hints whatsoever.
Without prevaricating, we will just say that it could be the Galaxy Tab S8 series, the new flagships from the house of Samsung and one of the closest competitors to the iPad. The tech giant launched the Galaxy Tab S7 FE previously, which was a more affordable version of the Tab S7. Since the company seems to be done with the S7 series of tablets, it could make a surprise announcement regarding the Tab S8 at the event which is about to go live in less than 2 hours.
There could be three models in the Galaxy Tab S8 series, with the most premium one being the “Ultra” model, if leaks are to be believed. Leaker IceUniverse had earlier claimed in a tweet that there will be an Ultra version of the Galaxy Tab S8 (SM-X906B) which will feature a 14.6-inch OLED display with a 2,960 x 1,848 pixels resolution (3K) and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The Tab S8+ could have a 12.4-inch OLED display while the Tab S8 could feature an 11-inch LCD display.
The tipster further claimed that the S8 Ultra model will be powered by the Snapdragon 898, have a 11500 mAh battery and will support 45W fast charging. The Tab S8 and S8+ are also rumoured to come with support for 45W charging.
