samsung galaxy: Samsung Galaxy S22 live image ‘revealed’ in latest leak – Times of India

Samsung is reportedly gearing up to launch the Samsung Galaxy S22 series early next year. The series is rumoured to include Samsung Galaxy S22, Samsung Galaxy S22+ and top of the line Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra or Samsung Galaxy S22 Note. The lineup is the successor to the Samsung Galaxy S21 series that was launched by the company in the beginning of 2021. Although Samsung has not officially revealed any details about the devices till now, most of the specs have already been revealed in various leaks. Now, ahead of the launch, a tipster has also shared an image of the smartphone that is allegedly the vanilla Samsung Galaxy S22.
As per the image, the device looks similar to the Samsung Galaxy S21 but with a glossy rear panel. The image also reveals that the device will have a vertically aligned triple rear camera at the upper left side. The smartphone has also reportedly received the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification.
Samsung Galaxy S22 rumoured specifications
As per previous reports, the Samsung Galaxy S22 smartphone will feature 6.06-inch display. For context, the Samsung Galaxy S21 comes with a 6.2-inch display. Under the hood, the Galaxy S22 will be reportedly powered by the newly launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
When it comes to camera, the smartphone is tipped to feature a triple camera setup in the rear consisting of a 50MP primary lens, a 10MP telephoto lens with support for 3x optical zoom and a 12MP ultra wide angle camera. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone is rumoured to sport a 10MP camera at the front as seen on Samsung Galaxy S21 and Samsung Galaxy S21+.
In terms of battery, the smartphone is said to be backed by a 3700mAh battery with 25W charging support.
