Samsung Galaxy S24 series specs tipped, to get faster internals and a 144Hz display
Samsung Galaxy S24 series hardware specifications leaked way ahead of its launch
The Samsung Galaxy S24 series is close to a year away, however, tipsters seem to have claimed access to the Korean technology giant’s plans for 2024. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 series will one-up its predecessor in every possible way according to a new publication from SamLover. The publication claims that Samsung will equip the devices with the yet-to-be-launched Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. This chipset has been codenamed SM8650 and is expected to pack in significantly more punch in terms of performance and efficiency than the outgoing Gen 2 chipsets.
This added performance will be displayed on a new 144Hz display panel which too is expected to arrive on the Samsung Galaxy S24 series. The new display in theory could facilitate faster gaming response, more fluidity in the UI and also support quicker load times. The report also suggests that Samsung could include a UFS 4.1 storage system. While the technology seems a little farfetched, Samsung currently has the platform to manufacture UFS 4.0 storage chips which could improve upon the Samsung Galaxy S24’s performance further.
The speculations for optics indicate the inclusion of a new 200MP sensor and much-improved imaging capabilities. The Samsung Galaxy S24 series can be expected to get even better-zooming capabilities as compared to this year’s Samsung Galaxy S23 series.
