Samsung Galaxy S23 FE Might Launch in September 2023: Key Specs Tipped – Smartprix

Samsung might launch the Fan Edition Model of the Samsung Galaxy S23 in September this year. Samsung Galaxy S23 FE has been in the news for a while now despite the launch date not being confirmed by the brand yet. The Fan Edition or the FE Edition is a more affordable model than the flagship series devices. So Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will definitely be cheaper than the Galaxy S23.

Some expected specs of the Galaxy S23 FE have also been tipped.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE: Specs

Tipster Yogesh Brar claims that the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will come with a 6.4-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display will be bigger than the Galaxy S23 which has a 6.1-inch screen. The build quality of the FE model might be different to keep the pricing in check.

The Galaxy S23 FE might be priced between Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus. The smartphone is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset or the Exynos 2200 SoC depending upon the region it launches in. India might get the Exynos variant.

Talking about the camera optics, the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE might have a 50MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, and a 12MP telephoto camera at the back. The front might have a 10MP selfie lens. The device is said to run Android 13-based One UI 5.1 and pack a 4500mAh battery with 25W charging. 4 years of Android OS updates and 5 years of security patches are expected.

Wireless charging might also be available along with some kind of IP rating for dust and water resistance.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE: Expected Price & Launch Date

As of now the exact launch date is unknown. Also, it isn’t clear if Samsung will launch the device in India or not.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 starts at a price of Rs. 74,999 in the country while the Galaxy S23+ has a starting price of Rs. 94,999. So, the Galaxy S23 FE might be priced somewhere in between these two. It might cost somewhere between Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 60,000 if it comes to India.
