Samsung Galaxy A52s seems to be in the works as the handset has appeared on Geekbench with the model number SM-A528B, as spotted by MySmartPrice. This comes months after the South Korean giant had launched the Galaxy A52 4G and Galaxy A52 5G phones. Additionally, the Samsung Galaxy A52s had recently appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, suggesting that the India launch is definitely on the cards down the line. The Geekbench listing shows the phone has managed to score 770 points in single-core and 2804 points in the multi-core section. These numbers suggest the phone could be a premium mid-range offering.

Samsung Galaxy A52s appeared on Geekbench SM-A528B. The listing suggests the phone would come with Android 11 OS that will probably be skinned with OneUI 3.1 custom skin and 8GB RAM, but there could be other options at launch. The motherboard section shows the phone will come with ‘lahaina’ which could be associated with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G and should have peak clock speed of 2.4GHz. This is an upgrade to the internal hardware considering the original Galaxy A52 5G comes with Snapdragon 750 processor. The chipset will be paired with Adreno 642L GPU. Other details of the phone remain under wraps, for now, but we hope to learn more information soon.

To recall the Samsung Galaxy A52 specifications, it sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a 90Hz refresh rate, punch-hole display for the selfie snapper, and 800nits brightness. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC paired with Adreno 619 GPU, up to 8GB RAM, and 256GB internal storage that is further expandable via a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 11-based OneUI 3.1. custom skin out of the box and packs a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast-charging support.

The Samsung Galaxy A52 features a quad-camera setup on the back, with a 64MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5MP macro lens, and a 5MP depth sensor. On the front, it has a 32MP snapper for selfies and video chats. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type-C port.
