Samsung Galaxy A23 5G Could Be Priced Under Rs. 25,000 in India

Samsung Galaxy A23 5G is confirmed to go official in India on January 18. Ahead of the scheduled launch, the price of the smartphone along with RAM and storage configurations have been leaked online. The Galaxy A23 5G is said to debut in the sub-Rs. 25,000 category. It is tipped to come in two RAM options with 128GB of onboard storage. The Galaxy A23 5G was earlier launched in some select markets. It sports a quad rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor and is backed by a 5,000mAh battery.

As per a report by Phoneev, the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant of Samsung Galaxy A23 5G will cost Rs. 23,999 in India. Meanwhile, the top variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage could be priced at Rs. 25,999.

The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G was launched in Japan in November last year with a price tag of JPY 31,680 (roughly Rs. 18,200) for the lone 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant.

Samsung recently confirmed that the Galaxy A23 5G will be released in India on January 18 alongside the Galaxy A14 5G.

The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G is already listed on the official company website revealing its entire specifications and images. As per the listing, it runs on Android 12-based One UI 4.1 and sports a 6.6-inch Infinity-V display with a full-HD+ resolution. It is confirmed to have an octa-core SoC under the hood. As per the listing, the phone has 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB RAM options along with 64GB and 128GB storage variants.

For optics, the Galaxy A23 5G is listed to have a quad rear camera setup headlined by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with support for optical image stabilisation (OIS ). The camera unit also includes a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera. As per the listing, the Galaxy A23 5G is backed by a 5,000mAh battery.
