Xiaomi is all set to launch its new Redmi 12 smartphone in India next month. However, ahead of the new launch the smartphone maker has slashed the price of its Redmi Note 12 smartphone in the country. Launched earlier this year, Redmi Note 12 comes in three variants and all of them have received a price cut.
New price
Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 12 in three variants — 4GB+128GB, 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB priced at Rs 17,999, Rs 19,999 and Rs 21,999 respectively. All the three variants have received a price cut of Rs 1,000. After the price drop, customers can purchase the 4GB version at Rs 16,999, while the 6GB and 8GB variants can be purchased at Rs 18,999 and Rs 20,999 respectively. The smartphone can be purchased in Frosted Green, Matte Black and Mystique Blue colour options.
Offers
Along with the price cut, Xiaomi is also giving some offers to the buyers of Redmi Note 12. The customers can avail instant discount of Rs 2,000 on ICICI credit card and HDFC credit card. The company is also offering an exchange bonus of Rs 2,000 on Redmi and Xiaomi smartphones.
Redmi Note 12 specifications
Redmi Note 12 sports a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED panel and boasts a 1080×2400 pixel resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.
Powering the Redmi Note 12 5G is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset. The phone comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage, with the added convenience of expandable storage through a microSD card.
Running on Android 12-based MIUI 13, the device is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
For imaging duties, the smartphone houses a triple camera setup. The setup includes a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro shooter, capturing every detail with precision. On the front, the 8MP camera provides excellent selfie capabilities.
