redmi: Latest Redmi K50 series leak reveals design, display and chipset details – Times of India

The rumour mill has been abuzz with the leaks and rumours about the Redmi’s upcoming K50 lineup. Redmi is expected to launch its Redmi K50 lineup in 2022 and the smartphones have been in news since MediaTek has announced that the K50 smartphone will be powered by their latest 9000 series chipset.
Digital Chat Station, a well-known tipster, has dropped some more information related to the specifications of the Redmi K50 lineup of smartphones.
The tipster has confirmed the details about Redmi smartphones carrying model numbers L10 and L11. Rumours also suggest that there will be another phone with model number L11A.
As per the information provided by tipster, the Redmi K50 series will be an expensive series and is expected to feature a centrally aligned punch-hole camera with support for high refresh rate. In terms of SoC, the smartphones are likely to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, Dimensity 9000 and the unannounced Dimensity 8000 chipsets.
The tipster hasn’t talked anything specifically about the model names of the K50 series smartphones and what features and processor each one will get.
As far as basic specifications are concerned, the L10 and L11A models are expected to launch as Redmi K50 gaming series phones in China. Both the smartphones will reportedly feature up to 144Hz OLED display with in-display fingerprint scanner.
In terms of camera, the smartphones are expected to boast a quad rear camera setup of 64MP + 13MP + 8MP and 2MP lenses.
