Realme: Realme 11 series confirmed to launch in May in China – Times of India

Realme is expected to expand its mid-range smartphone portfolio with a new lineup in China. Rumours suggest that the company is already working on the Realme 11 series. This smartphone lineup will succeed the Realme 10 series which was launched in India a few months ago. Now, the company’s China Marketing Director Jessie has shared the first teaser of the Realme 11 lineup on Weibo. The poster shared on the Chinese social media platform confirms that the smartphone series will launch in China in May.
As per the poster, the smartphone in this lineup will house a circular rear camera module. The Realme 11 series is likely to include three models – the standard Realme 11, Realme 11 Pro and the Realme 11 Pro+. Recently, the Realme 11 Pro+ smartphone was also listed on China’s TENAA and 3C certification websites.
Meanwhile, the Realme 11 Pro model was also spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website. The information about the vanilla Realme 11 model is scarce.
Realme 11 Pro, 11 Pro+: Expected specs
Both the Pro models are expected to sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED Full HD+ display that may have curved edges. According to a report by GizmoChina, both Realme 11 Pro and 11 Pro+ smartphones are likely to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC. The chipset is rumoured to be backed by up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.

For optics, the Realme 11 Pro is said to house a dual rear camera setup that may include a 100MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary unit. Meanwhile, the Pro+ model is expected to house a triple rear camera setup which may include a 200MP main sensor along with 8MP and 2MP secondary sensors.
Both smartphones are likely to pack 5000mAh battery units and may run on Realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13. Apart from this, the Pro variant is likely to support 67W fast charging, while the Pro+ model may support 100W fast charging.
