Realme GT Neo 3 with 150W fast charging support launched in India, price starts at Rs 36,999 – Times of India

Realme has launched its much-teased Realme GT Neo 3 smartphone in India. Successor to the Realme GT Neo 2, it is the first smartphone of the company to come with 150W fast charging support. Realme GT Neo 3 sports a full HD+ display and comes with a dedicated display processor that promises to offer high frame rates with lower power consumption.
The new Realme smartphone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity processor and it has a stainless steel liquid cooling max with a total heat dissipation area of 39606mm². The smartphone has a racing stripe design and an AG glass coating on the back. The glass coating claims to reduce the light reflection and it also promises to keep fingerprints at bay.
Realme GT Neo 3 comes in two variants — one with 4500mAh battery with 150W fast charging support and the other with a 5000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
Price and availability
Realme GT Neo 3 with 80W charging support comes in two variants — 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256 priced at Rs 36,999 and Rs 38,999 respectively. On the other hand, the smartphone variant with 150W charging support cost Rs 42,999. The smartphone comes in Nitro Blue, Stripe White and Asphalt Black colour options and it will go on sale starting May 4. The smartphone will be available online on Realme.com and Flipkart.
As part of the launch offer, the company is giving a discount of Rs 7,000 on the smartphone.
Realme GT Neo 3 specifications
Realme GT Neo 3 features a 6.7-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2412 pixel resolution. The display offers 120Hz refresh rate and is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.
The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM. Realme GT Neo 3 comes in two storage variants — 128GB and 256GB.
The smartphone comes with dual SIM support and runs Android 12 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of Realme UI. For imaging duties, the smartphone sports a triple rear camera. The rear camera on the Realme GT Neo 3 comprises 50MP main lens with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. The front is home to a 16MP selfie shooter.
The company claims that the smartphone with 150W fast charging support can charge up to 50% in just 5 minutes. The smartphone also supports 80W, 65W and 50W charging. On the other hand, the smartphone with 80W charging support can charge up to 100% in 32 minutes.
