Today we are comparing two budget phones — Realme C55 which launches on March 21 and the other one named Poco C55 which is out in the market for a while. Realme C55 falls in a higher price bracket. However, due to the similarity in their names, one may get confused between the two. So, let’s compare them and see how much more you get for the extra you pay on the Realme C55.
We are comparing Poco C55 with the Realme C55 (Global Version) as we are expecting the same specifications to make their way to India.
Realme C55 vs Poco C55: Design
The Realme C55 is 7.89mm thick and comes in a lightweight design. The phone has a punch-hole notch which can transform into a capsule-shaped notch while the phone is charging. It also features a capacitive fingerprint sensor. The global variant of the smartphone was launched in three colours; Sun Shower, Rainy Night, and Rainforest.
The weight of the Poco C55 is 192g and it has a thickness of 8.8mm. This phone includes a 3.5mm headphone jack, micro USB port, 2+1 card slot, a 1217 single speaker, and a fingerprint sensor located on the back. It is available in three colours: Cool Blue, Power Black, and Forest Green, and features an eco-leather rear surface.
Realme C55 vs Poco C55: Display
Realme C55 will roll out with a 6.72-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The display supports a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate, to make the screen more responsive.
Poco C55 features a 6.71-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1650 pixels. It is protected by Panda Glass.
Realme C55 vs Poco C55: Performance
Realme C55 is powered by the Mediatek Helio G88 processor. The processor has a clock speed of 2.0GHz and is paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The Realme C55 will run on the Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0 operating system. It will be equipped with a 5000mAh battery with 33-watt fast charging support.
Poco C55 is powered by a Mediatek Helio G85 processor, paired with up to 128GB storage and 6GB RAM. It runs on an Optimised Version of MIUI 13OS. The phone is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 10-watt fast charging support.
Realme C55 vs Poco C55: Camera
Realme C55 sports a dual camera setup on the back consisting of a 64-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It is equipped with an 8-megapixel selfie shooter on the front.
Poco C55 is equipped with a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 0.08-megapixel depth sensor on the back and along with that it has a 5-megapixel selfie shooter on the front.
Realme C55 vs Poco C55: Price
Realme C55 was launched in the European market at a price of 150 EUR which is around ₹13,000 INR and we suspect the phone could launch in India also in this price range. On the other hand, Poco C55 was launched in India at a starting price of ₹9,499.
