Ranbir Kapoor buys 10,000 tickets of Adipurush; 1 ticket reserved for Lord Hanuman in every theatre
Actor Ranbir Kapoor is reportedly buying 10,000 tickets of the upcoming mythological drama Adipurush, which releases on June 16th, for underprivileged kids. This was reported by film analyst Taran Adarsh on Twitter, shortly after The Kashmir Files producer Abhishek Agarwal announced his company will give away 10,000 tickets in Telangana in government schools, orphanages and old-age homes.
Separately, during the final trailer launch of the movie in Tirupati, director Om Raut requested the makers to reserve one seat for Lord Hanuman in every theatre, to which producer Bhushan Kumar readily agreed. It is believed in Hindu mythology that Lord Hanuman is present every time the Ramayana, on which Adipurush is based, is recited.
10,000 Adipurush tickets free in Telangana
As stated earlier, Tollywood production house Abhishek Agarwal Arts is giving out 10,000 tickets to a select audience hailing from Telangana. The media house wants to distribute these free tickets to Adipurush to government school students, orphans, and people living in old age homes to motivate them to know more about the Hindu Lord Ram and his path of righteousness.
To avail these free tickets, the eligible audience can fill up a Google form in which one would be required to fill in personal details such as their name, organisation details, contact person of the guardian, number of tickets required, and proof of their organisation. The production house is then expected to verify this information and will possibly contact the interested party. The tickets are only being distributed for shows on June 16th in Telangana.
Adipurush release
Adipurush is finally releasing next week, after it was postponed following severe trolling and backlash on the first teaser launch last year for poor VFX, The movie stars popular actors like Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon. It has been directed by Om Raut and has been produced by T-Series and Retrophiles.
