Rakhi Sawant gifts necklace to Disha Parmar: ‘This is how I celebrate my friend’s wedding’

Rakhi Sawant took to Instagram on Saturday to reveal the gift she got for newlyweds Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar for their wedding. Singing the song Raja Ki Aaegi Baraat in a video, Rakhi showed the necklace she bought for Disha.

In the video, Rakhi Sawant is dressed in a pink and blue lehenga and wearing heavy gold jewellery. She then showed the necklace set to the camera. It was embedded with blue and white stones and had a starburst-style pendant. There were also matching earrings with the necklace.

Sharing the video, she wrote, “This is how I celebrate my friend‘s wedding – #RahulVeidya #DishaParmar #dishulkishaadi #rakhisawant. My jewellery costumes designed @bhavikajeswanilabel.” Rakhi and Rahul were among the five finalists on the last season of Bigg Boss.

Rakhi’s fans were impressed by her choice of gift for the newlyweds. “Aap bhut he sweet ho (You are so sweet),” wrote one. “Wow amazing and gorgeous look Rakhi,” wrote another.

Earlier, speaking to the media about her plans for Disha and Rahul’s wedding, Rakhi had said that she would only attend the reception party on July 17. “I am going on the 17th. I can’t go everyday. Itne kahan se costume, hair, make-up layenge (how will I get so many costumes, makeup looks and hairstyles done)?” she had said.

Rakhi later posted a picture of Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar from the wedding. She wrote, “All the best My Sweetheart friend and Disha,may god bless you, happy married life, tum log saat janamo tak saath raho (May you stay together in all seven lives).”

Rakhi was the first person to leave the Bigg Boss finale, taking home ₹14 lakh in exchange of voluntarily leaving the show. Rahul was the first runner-up while Rubina Dilaik took the winner’s trophy.
