Priyanka Chopra tells Keanu Reeves ‘I try to keep my eye on you’ in new clip from The Matrix Resurrections
The Matrix Resurrections is all set to have its US premiere on November 18. Building up the hype, a new clip has appeared, featuring Priyanka Chopra’s Sati’s encounter with Keanu Reeves’ Neo and Jada Pinkett Smith’s Niobe in a jungle.
In the scene, Neo and Niobe walk towards Sati in a jungle, who greets them saying, “General, thanks for saving me.” Niobe tells Sati, “I think if there was anyone who can make senses of this mess, it would be you.” Sati greets Neo with a “hello,” and he replies, “I know you.” Sati reacts to him, “I try to keep my eye on you.”
The Matrix Resurrections, the fourth film in the Matrix franchise and the first since 2003’s The Matrix Revolutions, reunites Keanu with Carrie-Anne Moss (who plays Trinity) and director Lana Wachowski.
Priyanka recently recalled her nervousness when filming a sequence with her co-stars. As per People magazine, she sat with her co-stars Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss for the 100th episode of Red Table Talk. “I really had a moment when we were doing that one scene in Berlin and all of you were standing across from me and I had all of those words. I remember my hands sweating. I told myself that 16-year-old me would never forgive myself if I didn’t get my words right in front of all of you,” she said.
“You rocked it,” Keanu said.

She also revealed how she landed a role in the film. “So when I got the call from my agent, I remember I was in India filming something, and they were like, ‘Oh, Lana wants to meet you tomorrow in San Francisco. I drove to the airport. I was like, ‘Sure!’ Whatever it takes to get the opportunity to work with all of you lot, it’s just such a privilege and an honour,” Priyanka said.
The Matrix Resurrections also stars Jonathan Groff, Neil Patrick Harris, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. It will release in theatres and on HBO Max on December 22.
