Last month, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were mocked by the American animated satire series South Park, which came up with its 26th Season on CBS. In Episode 2 of the show titled ‘The Worldwide Privacy Tour’, the adult sitcom mocked the couple’s demands of wanting privacy without specifically mentioning their names. In the episode, the pair was seen as promoting the Prince’s new book which is titled ‘Waaagh’ which was a spoof of Spare. Clips from the show went viral on social media soon after.

Now, as per a report by GB News, author Bruno Vincent has come up with a parody version of Prince Harry’s memoir which is set to release shortly after April Fool’s Day in the U.K. on April 5. The parody which is titled ‘Spare Us!: A Harrody’ has the synopsis, “All I had ever wanted was privacy. In order to get it, it seemed that an exceptionally detailed 500,000-word book was in order… He was born into an ancient powerful dynasty and, through no fault of his own, became one of the most recognisable men on the planet. His life was a constant barrage of press intrusion and manipulation. Until finally, he demanded that it stop. In order to get the privacy he so craved, he has written a warts-and-all book that goes deep inside the castle walls and exposes every shouting match, fist-fight, betrayal, teddy bear, awkward hug and tear-stained wedding rehearsal for the world to feast their eyes on. All for privacy!”

Prince Harry’s Spare released on January 10, and turned out to become the fastest selling nonfiction book to be ever published. It has sold more than 1.4 million copies in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Prince Harry had also revealed that the book was originally intended to be much longer but he cut it short since he felt he would never be forgiven by the royal family.

Prince Harry and Meghan tied the knot on May 19, 2018, and have two children — Archie and Lilibet. In January 2020, the couple stepped down as working royals and later settled in California, US.
