0

Oppo Find X7 series will support satellite communication. This comes from an official teaser Oppo posted on the Chinese networking site Weibo confirming the feature starring on the next-gen Find flagship smartphones that comprises Find X7 and X7 Pro.

Oppo Find X7 Satellite Connectivity

Satellite communications became an instant hit ever since Apple rolled it out on the iPhone 14 Pro series. Ever since we already got the Huawei Mate 60 with the tech, and the Samsung Galaxy S24 series will get it once it arrives early next year. Vivo X100 series will get satellite connectivity too.

Oppo Find X7 Series to have satellite connectivity

Huawei, Honor, Vivo, and Oppo are in talks with China Telecom to popularise mobile to satellite technology and it’s not limited to China.

Speculations suggest Oppo will leverage the BeiDou satellite messaging services we earlier saw on Mate 60. If that’s true, we are afraid that it could be a China-exclusive feature and may not debut globally although we will have to wait for more confirmation.

Having satellite connectivity ensures users can communicate with emergency services via satellite. It depends on the OEMs whether you get the ability to exchange texts or access calls and data with it. Seems like Oppo Find X7’s satellite service will be messaging only but let’s give it the benefit of the doubt unless the mystery is resolved.

Oppo Find X7 Series Hasselblad Camera System

Oppo is joining hands with Hasselblad to upgrade its camera systems and the Find X7 series is likely the first lineup to get the upgrade. Hasselblad’s all-new HyperTone Image Engine uses computational photography to overcome mobile photography hurdles such as distortion. Oppo has claimed that the system can improve image clarity by 30 percent and reduce noise by 60 percent. It will also use AI for photography. The telephoto module onboard the Find X7 series is advertised as the most powerful zoom lens.
