OnePlus Nord CE 3 chipset, colour option revealed as launch date nears
OnePlus Nord CE 3 chipset
- OnePlus has officially announced that the phone will be featuring a Snapdragon 782G chipset.
- The processor earlier made its way to the iQOO Z7 5G smartphone in China (expected to be launched as iQOO Z7 Pro globally).
- Qualcomm unveiled this chipset as an upgrade to Snapdragon 778G+ last year. This octa-core processor features a clock speed of up to 2.7Ghz.
- For connectivity, Snapdragon X53 5G modem is present along with support for Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 standards.
- In terms of performance, the Adreno 642L GPU helps the processor to be 10 percent faster than its predecessor.
- The 6nm chipset is made using TSMC’s N6 fabrication process which should allow for higher efficiency.
- It is expected to be a decent upgrade over Mediatek Dimensity 900 that the OnePlus Nord CE 2 houses.
