Nushrratt Bharuccha meets with minor accident and gets stitches, Ishita Raj records video: ‘It’s really gonna look hot’

Actor Nushrratt Bharuccha met with a minor accident for which she had to get stitches on her forehead. Taking to her Instagram Stories on Monday, Nushrratt re-posted a video shared by actor Ishita Raj. In the brief clip, Nushrratt was heard whining as she lay on a bed at the doctor’s clinic. Ishita spoke to the camera, “Hi guys! So guess what where am I? And what am I doing? (Looking at Nushrratt lying on a bed) You want to say hi?” As Nushrratt screamed, “No”, she panned the camera towards her. Nushrratt said, “…I am getting stitches. ” As Nushrratt laughed holding Ishita’s hand, the latter said, “And what luck? Nushrratt, it’s me. It’s only me who is right here with you.”

At this Nushrratt said, “Ya we are destiny’s children. She has literally walked in while I’m getting stitched up. I love you, Ishita.” She replied, “I love you too babe. And I assure you it’s really gonna look hot.” As Nushrratt shouted, “Hot? How can stitches look hot?” Ishita replied, “Listen eyebrow cuts look hot.”

When they asked the doctor to say something, she said that Nushrratt will be fine and the scar won’t show adding that she shouldn’t worry. The doctor also said that it was ‘karma and destiny’ that Ishita had rashes and walked in at the same time that Nushrratt was getting stitches. She also called the two actors best friends. The video ended with Nushrratt and Ishita laughing.

Ishita captioned the post, “And where do I meet you? Stitched hysterically!! @nushrrattbharuccha. Ps the lil xtra drama was insta formality (laughing emoji) @drjaishreesharad maki this sp appearance.” Ishita and Nushrratt have worked together in several films such as Pyaar Ka Punchnama (2011), Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 (2015) and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018).

In December, Nushrratt had shared a picture from the sets of Chhorii 2 as she began the shooting of her upcoming horror film. On Instagram, she posted a photo where she got cuts and bruises on her hand. She wrote, “And the cuts and bruises have begun!! #Chhorii2.”

Chhorii 2, helmed by Vishal Furia, also stars Soha Ali Khan. Chhorii streamed exclusively on Prime Video and received positive responses from the audience. The official release date of the sequel is still awaited.

Nushrratt will also be seen in an upcoming family entertainer film Selfiee along with Akshay Kumar, Emraan Hashmi and Diana Penty. Apart from that, she also has a drama thriller Akelli in the pipeline.
