Budget-cadre Moto G14 has been making headlines in rumors for a few weeks now. Cut to now, the alleged marketing renders for the upcoming smartphone have made a bang online sporting a massive 5000mAh battery and a 50MP dual rear camera setup.

Successor to this year’s Moto G13, the G14 has been showcased online in four different color variants i.e. Beige, Gold, Grey, and Blue. Carrying model number XT2341, the device leaked render shows a dual-camera setup at the back housed in a rectangular camera bump. There’s nothing on the back except the bump and a Moto logo which is something Motorola does in its smartphones.

Moving on, we have specs about the upcoming Moto G14. The phone is likely to get a 50MP rear primary cam along with a secondary cam (likely ultrawide or an auxiliary). There’s a 128GB of storage, 20W fast charging tech, and an octa-core SoC although exactly which one will make it to the phone remains a mystery. Rumor has it that the chipset we are talking about is a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC.

The renders show thick bezels around the display and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. There’s Dolby Atmos technology onboard with the speakers. Moving on, we have a 6.5” HD+ 90Hz panel onboard with a centrally-placed punch-hole cut-out that houses its front camera possibly 8MP.

There’s Android 13 with a minimally customized MyUX for the software. Since it is a Moto, you can expect an upgrade to Android 14 plus three years’ worth of security upgrades on the phone as well. Motorola hasn’t revealed any launch dates yet although we have heard Moto G14 is gonna make its debut sometime in August.
