Micromax re-entered the Indian smartphone arena last year and had introduced the In Note 1. The In Note 1 was initially launched at a price of Rs 10,999 for the 4GB+64GB variant and Rs 12,499 for the 4GB+128GB model. Micromax went back and forth with the pricing of the base variant of the In Note 1 and for a brief period of time had hiked the price to Rs 11,499 in May after which it reverted back to its original sticker price. Now, the homegrown company has announced a price cut of Rs 1,500 bringing the Micromax In Note 1 price in India down to Rs 9,499.

The Micromax In Note will be available with a Rs 1,500 price cut on Flipkart from October 3rd and the company is also offering an additional 10 percent discount of up to Rs 1,500 to ICICI and Axis Bank credit card users. It is unclear whether this is a permanent price cut or a limited period offer for the Flipkart Big Billion Days sale.
