The chipset is said to have scored over 1.26 million points in Antutu, which is a 26 percent improvement over the Dimensity 9000. Sources suggest the SoC will feature a Cortex-X3 prime CPU core that is said to offer at least a 25 percent increase in raw performance.

Is the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC launching on November 8th?

The MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset is said to be paired with Immortalis-G715 and will get support for ray tracing, according to recent rumours. Additionally, the leaked GFXBench results show that the chipset has managed to render the 1080p Manhattan 3.0 benchmark at 328fps, and has managed to score 228fps in Manahattan 3.1 tests.

In comparison, Apple’s A16 Bionic has managed 280fps and 200fps in the benchmarks. The Dimensity 9000+ has scored 220fps and 160fps. Lastly, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 has managed scores of 281fps and 188fps respectively.

According to reports, the impressive scores are because of the said ARM Immortalis-G715 GPU, which is said to support raytracing. For CPU, the Dimensity 9200 is said to opt for the new Cortex-X3 clusters, which will be clocked at 3.05GHz, 2.85GHz and 2.00GHz. That’s pretty much about the Dimensity 9200 at the moment but we don’t have to wait for much longer to know more details.
