Masaba Gupta, Mira Rajput turn up in their most stylish outfits to host ‘first lady of fashion’ Anna Wintour in Mumbai
On Wednesday, Bollywood celebrities showcased the best of their sartorial choices in Mumbai as they arrived at Vogue India’s Forces of Fashion event. The editor of the leading fashion magazine, Anna Wintour is a part of the star-studded night. In attendance are celebrities like Masaba Gupta, Mira Rajput, Ayushmann Khurrana, Aditi Rao Hydari and Vijay Varma among others. Ayushmann Khurrana came in an all-white suited avatar. He elevated his look with tinted glasses, coordinating with his shirt. Masaba Gupta opted for a classic bright pink saree with a matching blouse. Manushi Chhillar opted for a contemporary belted saree look in black from the house of Sabyasachi.
Aditi Rao Hydari made a splash with her bright pink Jumpsuit. Others such as Vijay Varma, Gabriella Demetriades and Mrunal Thakur opted for all-black outfits. The event was also attended by costume designer Manish Malhotra.
The highlight of the fashion event is Anna Wintour’s presence in India. She will be joining designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee to talk about themes of diversity, coming of new age fashion media, sustainability and slow luxury and the growing fashion scene in India. More actors are also expected to join them for the night.
Meanwhile, Ayushmann Khurrana will be next in An Action Hero, releasing on December 2. Aditi Rao Hydari has Gandhi Talks as one of her upcoming films. While Masaba is still basking in the success of the second season of her Netflix show, Mira has recently lent her wardrobe for a welfare initiative started by Alia Bhatt.
Vijay Varma will be next seen in the Hindi adaptation of The Devotion of Suspect X, alongside Kareena Kapoor and Jaideep Ahlawat. Meanwhile, Manish Malhotra will be soon making his directorial debut.
