With a myriad of restaurants, cafes and food joints in Delhi offering menus that seem to cover cuisines from across the globe, Delhi can easily be called India’s culinary capital. While the capital is home to a wide range of places to chill with friends and family, one of the places that stands out for its calming ambience and great food is Amelia by the Playpen. Located at The gallery on the Mehrauli-Gurgaon Road, Amelia is a fun place that offers a wide range of delicacies suitable to every palate.

Beautiful wall hangings, eye-catchy interior, and comfortable sittings, the ambience of Amelia by the playpen is one-of-a-kind. Crowds slowly poured in as the hours progressed, and the restaurant was completely jam-packed with families and friends.

We started off with – roasted veggie pizza and avocado toast. The presentation was quite fancy and the pizza just melted right inside our mouths. Moving on to the second course, we sampled shakshuka along with crispy French fries. While the shakshuka was slightly different, the French Fries were indeed delicious and binge-worthy. We paired the whole meal with hot chocolate and a glass of cold coffee.

Moving on to the last, the showstopper of this foodie expedition was the ‘Blueberry Cheesecake’. We absolutely loved the way the cheesecake melted in our mouths and the cookie crumble was just delicious. The blueberry topping made us order it again. So, if you have a sweet tooth, we highly recommend this dessert.
