Pune: Lokmanya Hospital on Tuesday announced Mohan Nair as CEO of group hospital. With over 30 years experience in the healthcare sector, he has a deep understanding of the healthcare delivery business, especially in innovative patient acquisition strategy, doctor engagement, medical tourism, and corporate coverage.
As part of this appointment, all Unit Heads and all Departmental Heads will report to Nair and he will be in charge of the entire administration of all the LHPL units. He will be reporting directly to the Managing Director.
Nair’s role will be to usher in growth in the organisation through innovative strategies like expansion of peripheral centres and international business. Building ortho departments other than arthroplasty like surgery, oncology and cardiology will be a major focus area. With his background in pharma, device and hospital sector, he will be responsible to further corporatise Lokmanya and prepare it for the new growth trajectory.
Nair has worked with Kokilaben hospital as a general manager, Business Development. He was also associated with Medtronic as a sales manager and with Novartis as a Regional Manager. In the past he joined as the director of Johnson & Johnson and as the CEO-Asia Pacific at arthrocare. He was also the Founder/CEO of NextGen Solutions.
