LG Z3, G3 and C3 evo OLED TVs showcased ahead of CES 2023; LG G3 will be more 70 brighter – Smartprix

Before making a formal CES 2023 presentation, LG showcased its Evo OLED TVs lineup for 2022 featuring the G3 and C3 Evo OLED 4K TVs and Z3 OLED Evo 8K TVs. Out of these three TVs, the LG G3 OLED Evo 4K was the biggest attraction, with LG’s Brightness Booster Max technology delivering up to 70% brighter images. The G3 will come in
55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch models.

Additionally, the G3 OLED Evo will appear much better when placed on a wall. LG claims that its new One Wall Design strategy would leave no discernible gap between the wall and the G3 and describes it as “ultra-seamless.” That is significant, considering how the G2 OLED Evo was almost gapless to the wall in the first place.

LG’s C3, Z3, and G3 are all powered by the 6th-gen a9 AI processor, but only the G3 models will support LG’s Brightness Booster Max technology. This technology drives functions like AI Picture Pro, which, according to LG, improves dynamic tone mapping, enhances upscaling, and produces more lifelike HDR quality by recognizing and enhancing items like faces in the image.

These new LG flagship TVs drive AI Sound Pro, which can now use the TV’s built-in speakers to create a virtualized 9.1.2 surround sound experience. With these TVs, LG has also introduced a new feature called Wow Orchestra, which enables these TVs to stream sound through its speakers and the soundbar for a far more realistic performance.

Coming to connectivity, these new LG OLED TVs will support HDMI 2.1a as well in 2023. They will also get Quick Media Switching (QMS) function (also known as QMS-VRR) to ensure your TV adapts smoothly to various media types with various frame rates.

With these TVs, LG also updated its webOS smart TV software. The new UI comes with Quick Cards – a short panel that aggregates content and services into logical categories like Home Office, Gaming, Music, and Sports in a new home screen style. The interface also gains more sophisticated personalization tools powered by AI Concierge, including individual profiles for each family member as well as curated lists of content suggestions based on viewing preferences, search terms, and viewing history.

When it comes to details like pricing, availability, and even screen sizes for its 2023 OLED TV lineup, LG is still being evasive at the moment, but as soon as we learn more, we’ll let you know.
