Jio launches True 5G in four more cities: All the details – Times of India

Mukhesh Ambani-led telecom giant Jio has launched Jio True 5G in four more cities. This brings the total count of cities where Jio True 5G is now available to 72. Jio claims its 5G service to be the “world’s most advanced network” which is now available in Gwalior, Jabalpur, Siliguri and Ludhiana. With the addition of the new cities, Jio has also become the first and the only operator to launch 5G services in Gwalior, Jabalpur and Ludhiana. Jio plans to launch its True 5G services in every town and taluka of India by the end of December 2023.
How Jio 5G launch will help the states
The latest cities to receive Jio’s True 5G service will offer users to enjoy the “transformational benefits of technology,” the company claims. Jio 5G’s launch in the above-mentioned cities will strengthen the 5G service coverage in Madhya Pradesh (MP). Jio’s True 5G network can help the state that is very close to the unveiling of coveted events like Pravasi Bharatiya Divas and Invest MP – Global Investor Summit at Indore.
With the addition of Gwalior and Jabalpur, Reliance Jio has now become the first and the only operator in MP to launch 5G services across all prominent large cities of the state, including the capital city, Bhopal and Indore.
Moreover, Jio is also the only operator to launch 5G services in Ludhiana. The telecom giant seems to be rapidly strengthening its True 5G coverage in Punjab, which was launched last week. Jio has also invited users residing in these cities to avail of the Jio Welcome Offer. Jio users in the mentioned cities can now experience unlimited data at up to 1 Gbps+ speeds, at no additional cost, starting today.

Jio True 5G’s reach in India
Jio True 5G is also available in major cities of the country including — Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore and more. Recently, the company announced the largest multi-state launch of its True 5G services by introducing its services across 11 cities.
