Iqoo: iQoo Z7 5G official poster reveals design: What to expect – Times of India

Chinese smartphone maker Vivo’s spin-off brand iQoo is set to expand its mid-range phone portfolio with a new smartphone in India. The company took to Twitter to tease the upcoming iQoo Z7 5G smartphone which is expected to launch soon in the country. The official tweet from the brand has revealed the front design of the Z7. According to a report by GizmoChina, the back panel design of the iQoo Z7 5G has also been revealed by an Amazon poster. The upcoming smartphone will succeed the iQoo Z6 smartphone which was introduced in March 2022.

iQoo Z7 5G: Expected availability
The report claims that iQoo will launch the smartphone on March 21 in India. The iQoo Z7 5G is rumoured to be available in Black and Blue colour options. The report also mentions that the company may also launch a Pro variant of the Z7 5G later.
iQoo Z7 5G: Expected design
As per the Twitter post, the iQoo Z7 5G is expected to arrive with a waterdrop notch display with a thick chin. The right side of the device is likely to rock the volume buttons and the power key.
The report claims that the upcoming smartphone will have a box-like form factor. The back panel will house a rectangular camera module which will include two sensors and an LED flash.

To compare, iQoo Z7’s predecessor also had a waterdrop notch display. However, the Z6 shipped with an LCD panel, while Z7 may sport an AMOLED screen.
Rumours suggest that the iQoo Z7 5G will come powered by Dimensity 920 chipset. For comparison, the smartphone’s predecessor was powered by the Snapdragon 695 5G-enabled chipset.
iQoo India CEO has also reportedly shared the AnTuTu benchmark score of the upcoming Z7 5G without mentioning the processor. The benchmark results reveal that the iQoo Z7’s SoC scored 4,80,000+ points and was able to beat the Snapdragon 695 chipset.
