iQOO 11S design officially revealed ahead of launch next month
iQOO 11S: what we know so far
The iQOO 11S smartphone looks largely similar to the original iQOO 11, in terms of the large rectangular raised camera module that housed a triple camera unit in the latter. The overall difference in the design language is likely to be reflected in its colour variants, while the overall chassis design is likely to remain the same.
At the moment, it remains unclear as to what the biggest differences would be, between the iQOO 11 and 11S smartphones. Most reports have suggested that the smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC from Qualcomm, while other reports have also claimed that it can feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC. It could have up to 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage.
Other key specifications have all been tipped to remain the same as the iQOO 11 — including the 6.78-inch 2K+ resolution E6 AMOLED display, the 5,000mAh battery, and the 50MP triple rear camera. The only reported difference so far has been in the charging speed, where the iQOO 11S is tipped to feature 200W fast charging — up from the iQOO 11’s 120W charging speed.
It remains to be seen if a change in charging speed could be enough to warrant a new device — even in a mid-cycle refresh. iQOO, to be sure, is expected to introduce a new flagship device, the iQOO 12, later this year, which could offer a greater refresh in terms of specifications and features.
