iPhone 15 may look similar to the iPhone 15 Pro – Times of India

0

Since the introduction of the ‘Pro’ models, Apple has created a clear distinction between the vanilla and Pro models, including a frosted finish on the Pro models. However, this year, Apple may pass it down to the non-Pro iPhone 15 models – iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus.
Until now, vanilla iPhone models have had a glossy finish, while the Pro models received the frosty treatment. However, a tipster suggests that the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus may come with a frosted glass back. So, the vanilla models might look quite similar to the Pro models. There are also rumours of vanilla iPhone 15 models to gain the Dynamic Island.
So, if the vanilla and Pro models look similar, how will Apple differentiate between them now? Rumours are rife that the iPhone 15 Pro models – iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max – might have a titanium chassis, thinner bezels, and 120Hz ProMotion will remain exclusive to Pro models.
Also, there are rumours that the orange Action button, as seen on the Apple Watch Ultra, could replace the ring slider on the iPhone 15 Pro models. Then, the vanilla models may stick with the dual camera setup, while Pro models to have the triple camera setup, including a rumoured periscope sensor.
iPhone 15 series to come in new colours
There are rumours that the vanilla iPhone 15 models may come in a new colour option that combines cyan and green, reminiscent of the Mint Green option from the iPhone 12. Meanwhile, the iPhone 15 Pro models are expected to come in a new dark red colour, which might replace the Deep Purple colour of the iPhone 14 Pro models.
iPhone 15 is expected to debut later this year, in September. The series would consist of four models – iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, and iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max.
