IND vs PAK, latest weather update: Rain forecast in Colombo for India v Pakistan Super 4 clash
India’s Asia Cup group-stage matches have been impacted by rain so far. While their first match against Pakistan was abandoned after India’s innings, the second match against Nepal too had to be shortened as India chased down the target in a little over 20 overs. Now, the tournament has moved to the Super Fours stage that will take place in Colombo. India will take on Pakistan on 10 September for their Super Four clash and once again, weather is expected to play spoilsport for this match.
Colombo has experienced heavy rainfall over the past week and there also have been reports of floods in some areas. In addition, there have been talks about relocating the Asia Cup matches from Colombo to Hambantota, but despite discussions, the schedule remains unchanged.
As per AccuWeather, there is a 75 per cent chance of rain, with thunderstorms expected later in the day. Apart from this, the likelihood of rain increases to over 95 per cent at night.
