Honor Magic V2 Appears in Live Shots Ahead of July 12 Launch
As we are inching closer to the Honor Magic V2 series debut on July 12 in China, we are thrilled as the instances of its appearance in headlines have increased. Earlier on Monday, Honor’s President Lei Jun shared some camera samples teasing the uber camera quality of the device. Cut to now, we have some real images of the device clad in Blue and Black colorways. Here’s more about Honor’s self-proclaimed world’s lightest foldable smartphone.
Honor Magic V2 Spotted In Real-Life Images
As you can see in the images tagged below, the foldable Magic V2 looks pretty flamboyant. The cover display is humongous and sits with slim bezels and a punch-hole cut-out at the center for its front camera. It is speculated to weigh less than 240 grams making it the world’s lightest foldable smartphone. Honor recently compared its weight against the iPhone 14 Pro Max which stands at 240 grams.
Returning to the live shots, the phone has a leather-like finish at the back. You can see its giant camera island on the back which takes a significant chunk of real estate when folded and viewed from its side profile.
Unfortunately, the details regarding the device are shrouded in mystery. Reports suggest the primary display uses a 7.9” foldable LTPO AMOLED 2K panel with a high refresh rate and PWM dimming although the exact specs are vague.
The phone is expected to come with bleeding-edge specs including the overclocked Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. There’s a special edition with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC under the hood dubbed as Supreme Edition as per the reports. We have up to 512GB of storage with 16GB of RAM and a 5,000mAh battery onboard too.
Honor Magic V2 will make its official debut in China on July 12th. It remains to be seen if the foldable masterpiece makes it to the global and Indian markets or not.
