Google Pixel 7 users report video call quality issues: What is it – Times of India
How this camera bug is affecting Pixel 7 users
A Reddit user used Google Meet to compare the video output that was offered by the Pixel 3 XL and the iPad Pro with the one from their Pixel 7. The uploaded post showed that the video calling output offered by Pixel 7 was “noticeably blurrier” and had a “smeared appearance.”
Other Reddit users also supported the findings which indicated that the issue was also prevalent in other apps including Telegram, WhatsApp and Instagram. Pixel 7 users also mentioned that the problem likely applies to both the front and the rear cameras. These reports implied that instead of being a hardware issue with the front-facing camera in particular, the issue might be caused by a software bug.
Google Pixel 7 users have also previously complained about video quality issues during calls, even before these reports started surfacing on Reddit. Google Pixel 6 users also reported similar issues. However, Google never fixed the problem on the older flagship series.
Google Pixel tablet: Expected details
The tech giant is expected to launch its first-ever tablet in 2023. The Pixel tablet was first teased by the company at the 2022 I/O conference. Later, Google shared a few official renders of the upcoming tablet which showed the device in a white colour variant. The latest renders of the Google Pixel tablet were recently leaked on Facebook Marketplace.
These new renders revealed that the Pixel tablet is expected to arrive with a charging dock that will offer the device a Nest-like look when docked. More details of the upcoming tablet are expected to surface soon.
